What would you do in these situations?

Re: What would you do in these situations?
Given that I am not armed and rushed by a squad of armed men I would comply with their orders, wait till I'm free again, and attack whatever agency that thought they could get away with this.

Re: What would you do in these situations?
Me?? No Sir...I have no guns in this house.
Mind if we check?? There is no light, water and the toilet is backed up with feces. Be my guest. T |
Re: What would you do in these situations?
The minute you hear about gun confiscation it's time to go red dawn.

Re: What would you do in these situations?
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? After all, you knew ahead of time that those bluecaps were out at night for no good purpose. And you could be sure ahead of time that you'd be cracking the skull of a cutthroat. Or what about the Black Maria sitting out there on the street with one lonely chauffeur – what if it had been driven off or its tires spiked? The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! "If. . . if . . . We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation. We spent ourselves in one unrestrained outburst in 1917, and then we hurried to submit. We submitted with pleasure! . . . We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward." (Note 5, page 13, Vol. 1,
, by Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn)

Re: What would you do in these situations?
Anyone crossing the threshold of my doors or windows without permission is subject to having lethal force used against them. I do not concern myself with the consequences to me, legal, lethal, or otherwise; it is a matter of honor & right to defend my family and home. Some things are worth more than life itself, and resisting armed suppression of Freedom is one of them. I remind all veterans - if you mean what you say and have said about defending Freedom, be prepared to do it again, in your own homes and on our streets.

You would open the door to them? You'd let them in? |
Re: What would you do in these situations?
Sounded like a forced evacuation, I was thinking if you didn't answer or open the door, they'd probably come in anyway

Re: What would you do in these situations?
At home - would be an interesting conversation thru the doorbell intercom. "No permission slip from the judge, not opening the door. By the way, that camera is recording..."
On the road - take a page from the World Poker Tour. Get on your most serious concerned face, shake your head side to side and say "we don't own any guns officer, just making our way to...are you finding people driving around with loaded guns!?!" Forced Evacuation - you've had some time to prepare. If you are waiting until the last minute or taking the main road leaving town, that's a problem. SHTF - well, that's why you have guns... |

I WILL ASSES THE SITUATION AND MAKE A JUDGEMENT CALL. For example: If the Goons are just walking door to door "asking" I will be more receptive to the idea because they really dont want to do it per se and since every other house on the block is probally unarmed they will ASSUME I am as well. Just a quick "head poke in" as long as nothing is visible they will be on there way. I dont like that .........but I can live with it. Now on the other hand if they are kicking in doors and rousting people to front of there house while they tear the place to peices looking for good stuff. Well then....... Time to load up the 100ft Flame thrower shells in the 12 Gauge ITS ON. |
Re: What would you do in these situations?
We all may find it is much more difficult than we have imagined.
As things deteriorate and the Nazis figure out it isn't going to be easy they will switch to high tech and barbaric tactics. I would expect them to approach your home with a small armored vehicle. Then sweep the house with infrared to determine how many people are inside. You will be called out with a loudspeaker. If you fail to comply they will use gas or some such. Maybe just kill everyone inside. People will quickly learn to obey. |

The core of police and swat tactics is to create a perimeter around the house/property. You have a few choices of whether to stay and fight or escape. |

Re: What would you do in these situations?
All In process currently for me....ICF (concrete house) ..built on side of mountain...
self sufficient, water(wells, stream, springs),power(micro hydro, wind, solar), etc, on grid currently one long drive in, crossing a self owned bridge over water, have old crane in place to remove bridge or can fell multiple trees accross road, I donate heavily to the local law enforcement and judges campains and host fishing/hunting outings for key individuals they would need amphibious vehicles or helicopters to get to me.....im sure they would have other targets that would be much easier to get to. rousting city dwellers would produce much more results with tons less effort and expense. family in next county over with similar facilitys already in place we can grow or produce if needed our own food, power, esentials,,,,,we have horses if we need that type of transportation,,,,we could also if needed plant soybeans and press out our own vegitable oil if we need it for diesel replacement fuel Thats my plan in process and i am sticking to it |
Re: What would you do in these situations?
A helpful hint.
If you mix dry clothes washing powder WITH your gasoline, you end up with napalm. In Vietnam, our guys used to use two big boxes of Tide soap for every 55 gallon drums. Just store that info away. Also, during WWII, people used to soak dead branches in gasoline. As a tank would roll along, they would throw them out of the second story window. The tankers thought they were happy to see them. Right up until someone threw a molotov cocktail onto the piled up branches. Tank flambe occured almost immediately. Very few crews survived those tactics. And everybody is saying the M1A2 Abrams are impenetrable. This is false. IED have stopped NUMEROUS Abrams from functioning. Same for large (think five gallon) molotov cocktails thrown on their rear deck from where their engines draw in oxygen to run. As the fuel burns, it removes all the oxygen. Without oxygen to mix and burn with the diesel, these babies come to a screeching halt. Again, keep this info in the back of your mind. YOU MIGHT NEED IT ONE DAY. HOPEFULLY WE NEVER WILL... |
